Khandelwal Group of Companies has started horticulture in Odisha at badabarena, Nuagaon, nayagarh district having 100 acres of land. Out of which 20 acre has been used for farming and more 30 acre of land is in process to be programmed by next year for agriculture. In India, with its variability of climate and soil, produces a large range of horticultural crops such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, and tuber crops, medicinal and aromatic plants. The seeds of different vegetables are sown in different periods of the year which helps in maintaining a constant supply of vegetables, fruits and flower. Horticulture crop production has begun to move from rural confines to commercial ventures and has attracted young entrepreneurs. The ISRAEL Advance Technology (Dip Irrigation) is being used by Khandelwal Group of Companies for agriculture. Out of 100 acre of land 1st Phase is done in 24 acre of land we have three Net house of 1 acre each, one Green house of 1 acre, one Net house of 5 Acre and 15 acre as open field has been planted. Vegetables in India are grown in around almost village, town and city. Khandelwal Group of Companies is involved in cultivation of Vegetables like Chilli, Capsicum, Tomato, Cucumber and fruits like Banana, Papaya and flowers like Roses, Gerbera. Guava (Farang) is in process of planning and will be cultivated by next year.

It is a privilege to announce that Khandelwal Group of Companies has started a new venture of Horticulture at Badaberana, Nayagarh District of Odisha in about 100 acres of area. Israeli Technology (Drip Irrigation) is known as No. 1 in the world and has recently been introduced in India. Our project is the first of its kind in the State of Odisha where the materials used for constructing Shade Net House & Green Net House are being imported. In India, variability of climate and soil produces a large range of horticultural crops such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, tuber crops, medicinal and aromatic plants. The seeds of different vegetables are grown in different seasons of the year which helps in maintaining a constant equilibrium to meet the demands of the state. Currently, we are involved in cultivation of Vegetables like Chillies, Capsicum, Tomato, Cucumber and fruits like Banana, Papaya& Guava. Floriculture is likely to start soon with production of Roses & Zarbera which will be exported to Western Countries Organic Vegetables has heavy demand in Odisha as till now neighbouring states like Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu are feeding the demands. The project is going on full swing and our target to start the production is by 2015.
